About Us

During the pandemic in 2022, our health and planet's well-being were at stake as the world took a break. It was at this point that Bamboology came into being. Our collective experience in the fashion and retail industry has led us to recognize the importance of reducing carbon emissions in fashion to achieve sustainable and skin-friendly clothing.

We believe this is crucial. To combat the 2.4 billion ton of landfill that single-use sanitary products generate in India, we introduced a new and eco-friendly bamboo menstrual pant. This innovation is designed to be both environmentally friendly and effective. The strong response prompted us to expand into eco-friendly innerwear, activewear in 2023-24, and Gen Z all-day oversized T-shirts in April 2025. These items are all made from bamboo that are sustainable. But it's not just a brand; it is the movement Bamboology.

Our focus on skin health, climate change, and clean fashion is a result of the market's growth and transformation. The future generation will feel a sense of pride in wearing Bamboology.

Did you know?

Over $500 billion is lost annually due to inadequately used clothing and lack of recycling (Ellen MacArthur Foundation, 2017)... The astonishing statistic led us to delve deeper into the implications of both fast fashion and unsustainable clothing. What we found was even more terrifying:. Fashion Nova, Boohoo, Revolve and Pretty Little Thing are among the leading fast fashion brands that fall below 10% on the Fashion Transparency Index. Only 15% of used clothing is recycled, while only 1.3% is actually recycled. The production of a T-shirt and jeans requires more than 5,000 gallons of water.

Why?

Fashion is the second most polluting sector in the world.? The long supply chains and energy-intensive production of it account for 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions.[I]. The evidence demonstrates an unambiguous demand for action. We at Bamboology Trends were on a mission to change the world by making alterations to how fashion affects people and the planet. A Vision Rooted in Experience. With nearly two decades of experience in textiles, we were aware that effective change neceses both knowledge and dedication. Following the recent outbreak, we aimed to discover a natural fiber that could provide sustainability, safety, and comfort, with bamboo being the most suitable option. Our Purpose.

Our work is centered on three fundamental objectives:

🌱 Reducing carbon footprints.

🌱 Raising awareness about sustainability. Improved health and the environment.

Why Bamboo?

Among the most sustainable natural fibers are bamboo and its clear advantages: Within a day, Bamboo fabric has an antibacterial effect that reduces bacteria to less than 0.2%. Conversely, bacteria on cotton can multiply 550 times over the same period. With its natural ability to absorb and evaporate sweat, Bamboo is both odor-resistant and moisture-wicking. Recyclable and entirely renewable resources.. Bamboo sprouts quickly without the use of chemicals. Water-efficient: Consumes one-third of the water required for cotton cultivation.. Adaptable to climate change: Captures five times the amount of CO2 and 35% the oxygen compared to equivalent trees. The maturity of bamboo takes longer than trees, with a maturation period of 3 years, leading to 3-5 times more raw material being produced in the same time frame. The UV resistance of this fabric is 60% greater than that of cotton, making it a superior product. Restoring warmth in the winter season by regulating temperature. It is skin friendly as it is naturally antistatic and ultra-comfortable, almost like silk, but stronger than steel. What We Offer.
